Besides the online store Basiclabel has a physical location in Hoorn and a Basiclabel house in the Experience Center of De Eekhoorn. Our house style is no-nonsense, tough, basic, pure and timeless in which your personal taste is given space. The Basiclabel assortment is according to the latest home decoration trends and is regularly supplemented with the latest home decoration items from many different trendy home decoration brands.

The concept of De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture is clear and simple: designing sturdy, contemporary, easy to assemble and attractive furniture. With our brands WOOOD, BePureHome, vtwonen and Exotan we sell our products in more than 50 countries and 1500 sales points around the world.

With over 200 employees, De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture and Basiclabel has been a specialist in developing, producing and distributing interior products for DIY stores, department stores, furniture specialty stores and online retailers in Europe for over 40 years. The culture within the organization fits that of a real family business: no-nonsense, dynamic and with a flat organizational structure. More than 30% of our collection is produced in our own factory in Zwaagdijk-Oost and to realize further growth we have built a new head office with distribution center and experience center on the highway in Hoorn in 2020.

We are looking for a Customer Support Employee Basiclabel


As a customer support employee you will answer questions via phone, email and chat. These are mainly consumer questions arising from sales through our webshop and affiliated marketplaces. You are the first point of contact for our customers and work with them to find the best solution. You deal adequately with action points that arise from this. For example, you make inquiries at various departments in search of answers for the customer. In addition, you are responsible for administrative tasks such as processing customer orders, service requests and returns in the order system. You can switch quickly and never lose sight of priorities. In addition, of course you have a good telephone voice and you speak and write flawlessly in Dutch and English. Speaking and writing skills in German and French are an advantage. You have a clear, fresh look and are quality-conscious. You share your ideas internally with the aim of improving customer service. You are customer friendly, enthusiastic, committed and willing to work hard.


 

Do you have:

  • MBO-HBO working and thinking level;
  • administrative experience in a similar position;
  • good computer skills (Office);
  • good communication skills;
  • excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
  • good command of German language and French language (speaking and writing) is a plus.

Are you:

  • Flexible in availability: working days and hours vary from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

1. Apply

2. Invitation by phone

If you are interested, one of our HR managers will call you to make an appointment.

3. First interview

If you are invited for an initial interview, the manager of the relevant department will tell you more about the position together with the HR manager.

4. Second interview

If we are both enthusiastic, a second interview with a manager and a direct colleague follows. Depending on the position, a case may be presented or an online assessment may follow.

5. Contract proposal

You will receive a contract proposal from our HR manager.

6. Employed

When we have come to an agreement you will be warmly welcomed by your new colleagues!
