The concept of De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture is clear and simple: designing robust, attractive furniture. With our brands WOOOD and vtwonen, we sell our products in more than 50 countries through 1,500 points of sale. With a team of 200 dedicated employees, De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture has been a specialist in developing, producing and distributing interior products for DIY stores, department stores, furniture specialty shops and online retailers in Europe for over 44 years.
More than 30% of our collection is manufactured in our own factory in Zwaagdijk-Oost, and our head office, including distribution centre and showroom, is conveniently located along the motorway in Hoorn.

About the job
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for further developing and implementing our B2B and B2C marketing strategy. You play a crucial role in convincingly positioning our WOOOD brand in the market. You are hands-on and know how to bring WOOOD to life as an experienced storyteller. With your omnichannel strategy, you ensure a coherent customer journey, using a mix of Google Ads, social media, offline media and point-of-sale activations, supported by a well-planned marketing calendar. You will lead a team of 6 employees and work intensively with sales, development and external partners.
Your activities
- Strategy & Positioning: You implement a powerful marketing strategy in line with WOOOD's brand values. You ensure that our brand is strengthened at national and international level and optimally positioned among our dealers.
- Campaigns: You devise promotional campaigns and discount actions and ensure their implementation with your team. Social media, newsletters, influencers, PR, B2B marketing and B2C marketing, you know how to combine everything so that our customers experience the best possible mix.
- Retail Support: you make sure the marketing cooperation with our dealers is good. You do this by arranging attractive product presentations, POS material and creating an excellent shopping experience in line with WOOOD's identity.
- Brand awareness: A key objective is to further expand the WOOOD brand and create national awareness. You will develop a strategy that helps all our dealers to position WOOOD in the best possible way.
What do we require of you?
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar marketing role, with a proven track record in omnichannel marketing.
- A strategic vision of brand building, combined with a hands-on mentality. You know how to really bring concepts to fruition.
- Experience with digital tools and channels, such as Google Ads and social media, as well as offline activations and shop presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, a creative mind and a keen eye for detail.
- Passionate about trends and interiors!
