We are looking for a Teamleader Orderpick!

As Order Pick Team Leader, you will be the operational manager of the order pickers who mainly work in two shifts. We are looking for someone who knows how to strike a good balance between people-oriented and task-oriented management. You ensure that the planning is achieved and you implement the policy. You are the link with the other departments within logistics to ensure that the delivery arrives at the customer on time! Besides managing, you are involved in ensuring optimal workflow and personnel planning, and you think proactively about the improvements we can make to become even better together. In this position, you will report to the production manager.
What will you do?
  • You will manage the Orderpick team (approx. 12 FTE + on-call) in both a people- and task-oriented way at operational and tactical level;
  • You manage by results and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Thanks to your good planning and coordination with the other team leaders, our beautiful furniture reaches the customer on time;
  • Within your duties, you set an example in the field of safety and create a safe environment for your colleagues;
  • You are the first point of contact for your team and you keep your colleagues motivated;
  • You pick up HR-related conversations so that you keep a good feeling with the team.
  • In the absence of fellow shift leaders, you can also keep those departments running.
And do you have?
  • Enthusiasm and energy! You can motivate your colleagues.
  • 2 to 5 years' work experience in a similar position;
  • Experience with WMS systems and affinity with logistics;
  • Preferably you have knowledge of/experience with LEAN;
  • Communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • Ability to work well with different teams;
  • Stress resistance and the ability to make quick decisions;
  • A customer-oriented and quality-conscious mindset.

If we are both enthusiastic, a second interview with a manager and a direct colleague follows. Depending on the position, a case may be presented or an online assessment may follow.

5. Contract proposal

You will receive a contract proposal from our HR manager.

6. Employed
