Marketing & communication intern

We are looking for

The marketing team of De Eekhoorn is looking for an enthusiastic marketing and communication intern! You will be working on creating content, creating newsletters and support the marketing team in devising and executing creative campaigns and projects. We are looking for a marketing and communication intern who can help us with the following activities.

Work activities

• Manage social media accounts;
• Social media content creation;
• Writing blog articles;
• Creating visuals in InDesign; 
• Create and send B2B & B2C newsletters;
• Support of online marketing activities;
• Supporting the marketing manager and brand marketers in executive tasks;
• Support for events at the new Experience Center.

Can you

• Besides Dutch, easy communicate in English;
• Working independently with your own responsibilities;
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinking.

And do you have

• HBO work and thinking level in the direction of marketing and communication;
• Fulltime availability for an internship starting in April 2025;
• Experience with programs such as Photoshop/Indesign;
• A hands-on mentality; you know how to tackle and are good at multitasking;
• Strong communication skills;
• Affinity with furniture.

With over 200 employees, De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture and Basiclabel has been a specialist in developing, producing and distributing interior items for DIY stores, department stores, furniture specialty shops and online retailers in Europe for over 40 years. More than 30% of our collection is produced in our own factory in Zwaagdijk-Oost.
