We're looking for:
We are looking for an Application Manager (37.5 hours per week) to manage and develop our applications. As an Application Manager, you ensure that your colleagues and users can work with the applications in a pleasant and effective manner. You are a resource in the functional and technical area and can make (basic) adjustments to the software and/or modify the applications yourself. You translate business processes into smart solutions and improvements within the applications. We work with applications in which your own input is important. Together with our system administrators and programmers, you work in an open and pleasant culture.
Core activities:
  • Providing functional and technical support to users regarding our applications including Exact Globe, WMS, SQL database, MS Office, MS PowerBI, web-based and customised applications;
  • Identifying, advising and implementing functional requirements, improvements and resolving bottleneck adjustments and wishes;
  • Drawing up functional specifications for managing and coordinating programmers;
  • Being the first point of contact for the software supplier and maintaining contact;
  • Active involvement in process improvement;
  • Coordinating maintenance and updates;
  • Training and informing new users of the software.
What do you bring?
  • HBO -  Higher professional education.
  • Preferably some years of experience in a similar position
  • Good communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, result-orientation, ambition, pro-activity, perseverance, analytical insight, thoroughness.
  • A solution-oriented, accurate, assertive, inquisitive attitude.
  • Good writing and language skills in Dutch and English.
  • Experience with:
    • Database (MS SQL) coding
    • VBA (Excel coding)
    • Analysing business processes
  • Having knowledge of the following systems and software is a plus:
    • Orbis Software (BPA)
    • MS Reporting Services
    • Bartender labelling software
    • Javascript
    • JSON
    • C#
    • asp.NET

If we are both enthusiastic, a second interview with a manager and a direct colleague follows. Depending on the position, a case may be presented or an online assessment may follow.

5. Contract proposal

You will receive a contract proposal from our HR manager.

6. Employed

When we have come to an agreement you will be warmly welcomed by your new colleagues!
